Participants go on a learning journey together with the Food Waste Challenge team and local food surplus entrepreneurs. They experience for themselves where and why food waste occurs. After all, it’s by experiencing food waste that they will be able to solve the problem.
Food surplus entrepreneurs, innovators, and experts share their experiences about creating a social business that prevents or reduce food waste.
Participants are equipped with innovative tools and receive tailored coaching from our entrepreneurs to help them with the creation and elaboration of their social businesses.
Teams get the chance to pitch their idea in front of a jury of food waste experts and receive feedback. The jury choses a winning team and hand out prizes.
All teams receive 3 months coaching for the testing and implementation of their idea. They are coached according to the Lean Start Up Methodology.
